Questions before you sign up

I'm already an 808BN member — do I have to pay for this too?

No. A basic listing is included free with your membership. Featured and Premium are optional upgrades for members who want priority placement, not a requirement to be listed at all.

How is this different from the 808BN Facebook group?

The Facebook group is where conversation happens. This is where you're findable — by fellow members searching for a specific service, and by the public searching Hawaiʻi Island businesses online. It's built to be found by Google; a Facebook post isn't.

Can I post what I'm looking for, not just what I offer?

Yes — the Looking For / Offering board is open to every member, free tier included. Post a need ('looking for a bookkeeper') or an offer ('free 15-min consult for new members') and it stays visible for 21 days.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel from your receipt email or by contacting us — no contract, no minimum term. Your listing drops to the free Member tier automatically rather than disappearing.

How do I know it's working?

Every listing page shows its own view and click counts, visible to anyone including you. Featured and Premium partners get priority placement on top of that, which you'll see reflected in those numbers.
